FAQ’S

  • The Summer Internship is designed for young adults ages 18-23 (or graduated from high school) who are called to ministry.

  • The Summer Internship will begin on May 23, 2025, and ends on August 7, 2025.

  • The total cost of the summer internship for year 1 applicants is $3,500.00.

    The total cost of the summer internship for year 2 applicants is $2,800.00.

    We encourage interns to fundraise, raise support, and save money to help you be prepared to cover any expenses they may incur while participating in the internship.

  • The majority of your responsibilities will require that you have a reliable form of transportation. Therefore, we strongly recommend having a valid driver’s license and a car.

  • The application window closes on February 25, 2025. Selections and commitments will be made by March 27, 2025.

  • You are welcome to pay the full tuition once you have received your acceptance letter but it is not required to be paid in full until 2 weeks prior to the internship beginning.

  • There is a non-refundable application fee of $25.

  • Tuition covers events, meals throughout the work week, the mission trip, and materials needed throughout the internship.

  • Housing will be provided for each intern. This includes interns that live locally. Host homes are a key element to the full experience as an intern.

  • After completing the application and requirements, you will be contacted for an interview.

  • Interns will be active in local outreaches, serve on a mission trip to Belize, lead out in our kids and student summer camps, and work along side the LWC Staff.
